Kat discovered her passion for yoga at a young age, taking classes at the YMCA. She spent all her life dancing and performing on stage and found she could more deeply understand her body and movement from her yoga classes. After facing many life challenges during her adolescent and impressionable years she discovered a strong desire to help others heal from their traumas. She devoted herself to volunteering and always being available to offer a helping hand. she followed her call to teach yoga in 2019 while she was living in Scottsdale, AZ and completed her 200 hr training there. In the desert she found she learned so much about herself and who we all are as humans, and was eager to bring all of this knowledge back to MKE. She continues to integrate her life experiences into lessons to share with others, and use yoga as a healing modality. She's immensely community oriented and strives to not just be an instructor but an ally and friend, offering kindness and understanding to everyone she meets.
